Want to get your hands on a new RTX 5080 prebuilt gaming PC? These are currently your best options…
While NVIDIA’s new RTX 5000 series GPUs have launched, it is currently very difficult to get your hands on either an RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 graphics cards.
Upon launching, both options sold out almost instantly across all retailers and restocks have been limited. And, even when they have come back in stock, they get sold almost as quickly as they come back up for sale.
However, one surefire way to land yourself a new RTX 5090 or 5080 has been to buy a prebuilt or custom-built system that already has the new GPU in it. We’ve already covered some of the best RTX 5090 prebuilt gaming PC options currently available and, in this post, we’ll take a look at the best RTX 5080 prebuilt options.

1. Skytech Azure
Best RTX 5080 gaming desktop right now

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- NVIDIA RTX 5080
- 32GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
As of right now, the best overall RTX 5080 prebuilt desktop comes in this configuration of Skytech’s Azure series. This particular model stands out because it features AMD’s 9800X3D 8-core 16-thread processor and it offers the combination of the 9800X3D and the RTX 5080 at a lower price than all of the other options currently on the market.
The 9800X3D is also tough to find in stock, so the fact that you can get both the RTX 5080 and the 9800X3D packaged together in a complete build for under $3,000 seems like an amazing deal right now.
Along with the 98003D and RTX 5080, this system comes with 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, a 360mm ARGB AIO cooler, and an 850-watt ATX 3.0 gold-rated power supply.
The Azure comes housed in a panoramic-style mid tower case that features dual tempered glass panels.
Overall, the combination of hardware and the reasonable pricetag make the Skytech Azure our pick for the best 5080 desktop available right now.
2. Empowered PC Mantis V2
A workstation-grade RTX 5080 desktop

- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X
- NVIDIA RTX 5080
- 96GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2x 2TB Gen 4 SSDs
If you’re looking for a gaming PC that can double as a workstation system, then this Empowered PC desktop might be the better option for you.
This configuration of Empowered PCs Mantis lineup of systems features the extreme 16-core/32-thread AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor. It also comes with 96GB of DDR5 memory, and dual Gen 4 NVME SSDs.
The one downside of this system, though, is its pricetag. The addition of the extreme AMD CPU, the extra memory, and the second SSD make this PC over $1,000 more expensive than the Skytech Azure listed above.
And, since the extra memory and SSD storage won’t have a noticeably impact on your gaming experience, and since the 9800X3D is actually the better CPU for gaming when compared to the 9950X (thanks to its 3D V-Cache technology), you’re paying all that extra money for a lower average framerate.
So, if you’re looking for a system solely for gaming, we’d recommend saving your money and looking to other options. But, for users who are going to use their PC for both gaming and CPU-intensive work, the Mantis offers the hardware to meet your needs.
3. Empowered MPG Velox
An RTX 5080 desktop that comes with more memory

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- NVIDIA RTX 5080
- 64GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
Another worthy RTX 5080 desktop option to consider is this configuration of Empowered PC’s MPG Velox. It comes with the same basic hardware configuration as the Skytech Azure we picked as our favorite option, but it comes with double the memory.
Along with the 5080, it comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 64GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, and an ARGB AIO cooler.
The downside of this system, though, is that it costs nearly $1,000 more than the Skytech Azure. And, at that price it isn’t currently worth considering. However, as the market for RTX 5000-series prebuilt systems is still getting established, we could see the price drop on this if Empowered PC wants to be more competitive.
So, while we wouldn’t recommend that you choose this PC over the other options on this list right now, it would still be worth checking on the price, because if it were to come down closer to the Azure it might be the better option for you.
4. Skytech Chronos
Cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PC

- Intel Ultra 7 265K
- NVIDIA RTX 5080
- 32GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
If you’re looking for the best possible deal on an RTX 5080 system, your best bet right now is this configuration of Skytech’s Chronos series. This desktop does come with the weaker Intel Ultra 7 265K processor when compared to the Skytech Azure (9800X3D), but it also comes with a $200 lower pricetag.
Along with the 265K and RTX 5080, this system comes with 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory, a 2TB Gen 4 SSD, an 850-watt Gold-rated power supply, a 360mm ARGB AIO, and a white tempered glass mid tower case.
In terms of performance, there won’t be a drastic difference between the 265K this system comes with and the 9800X3D that the Azure comes with—at least not in GPU-bound games and at higher resolutions.
However, the 9800X3D will offer a big performance boost in CPU-bound titles thanks to its 3D V-Cache technology. And, so if you mainly play those types of games, spending ~$200 more to get the Azure would likely be worth it for you.
Ultimately, though, the Skytech Chronos will deliver excellent in-game performance and will allow you to save some money on an RTX 5080 desktop as well.
