1. Empowered PC Sentinel X3D
Best overall RTX 5090 prebuilt desktop

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- NVIDIA RTX 5090
- 64GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
Empowered PC is one of the first prebuilt gaming PC companies to list their RTX 5090 desktops. And, of their current offerings, this version of their Sentinel line is probably the best option.
That’s because, along with its RTX 5090 graphics card, it also comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor, which is widely regarded as the best overall gaming PC right now.
Of course, there are other prebuilt options out there that come with the 9800X3D & 5090 combo, but at just under $5,800, the Sentinel currently offers that CPU-GPU combination at the lowest price.
To round out the specs, this PC also comes with 64GB of DDR5 memory that operates at 5600MHz, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, an AIO cooler, and a tempered glass mid tower case.
Overall, the Empowered PC Sentinel is going to offer you extreme performance for many years to come and if you don’t want to go the route of building your own system, or you just don’t want to wait to get your hands on a new RTX 5090 graphics card, this system is probably the best prebuilt gaming PC option right now.
2. Empowered PC Panorama
A panoramic-style RTX 5090 gaming PC

- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- NVIDIA RTX 5090
- 64GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
If you like the idea of combining the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the NVIDIA RTX 5090, but you want something that brings better aesthetics to the table than when compared to the Empowered PC Sentinel listed above, then this alternative option (also from Empowered PC) might be what you’re looking for.
The Empowered PC Panorama offers the same 9800X3D and RTX 5090 combination as the Sentinel, but it comes in a panoramic style case that offers a lot more RGB lighting.
Along with the 9800X3D and RTX 5090, the Panorama comes with 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, and a 360mm AIO cooler. So, basically the same core hardware configuration as the system listed above.
This PC does cost ~$150 more, though, so you’ll have to decide whether or not the extra RGB lighting and panoramic-style case would be worth the extra cost.
3. Empowered PC Continuum Micro
The top option with more RAM/storage

- Intel Core i9-14900KF
- NVIDIA RTX 5090
- 96GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2x 2TB Gen 4 SSDs
While AMD’s X3D CPUs have helped them gain the gaming performance advantage over Intel CPUs over the past couple years, Intel CPUs are still excellent options for gaming. And, if you require an Intel CPU for other purposes (i.e. video editing & rendering work) and are seeking to pair one with a new RTX 5090, then the Empowered PC Continuum Micro might be the right option for you.
Along with the RTX 5090, the Continuum Micro comes with an Intel Core i9-14900KF processor, 96GB of DDR5 memory, dual 2TB Gen 4 SSDs, a micro-ATX tempered glass case, and an AIO cooler.
While the 14900KF won’t offer quite as much performance as AMD’s new Ryzen 7 9800X3D overall—especially in CPU-bound scenarios where AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology will lead to a better framerate—it will still perform very well.
And, you get double the storage and 32GB more of memory. So, this system does have its advantages over the two systems above.
Ultimately, we’d recommend the systems that have the 9800X3D for pure gaming performance, but if you have a use-case that could benefit by having the Intel CPU and the extra memory and storage capacity, the Continuum Micro would be a good option to consider.
4. Empowered PC Sentinel (Intel)
Cheapest RTX 5090 gaming PC

- Intel Core i9-14900KF
- NVIDIA RTX 5090
- 32GB of DDR5 RAM
- 2TB Gen 4 SSD
If you’re looking for the cheapest RTX 5090 prebuilt desktop currently available on Amazon, then this configuration of Empowered PC’s Sentinel is what you’re looking for.
This version of the Sentinel comes with an Intel Core i9-14900KF processor, an NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU, 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, a mid tower case, and an AIO cooler.
It has the inferior CPU (for gaming, at least), and half the memory as the top two options on this list. However, it does come in at ~$200+ cheaper than the other options. And, 32GB of memory is still more than enough for even the most demanding gaming use-cases.
So, even though it doesn’t have the absolute best hardware configuration for an RTX 5090 desktop, the combination of the 14900KF, the 32GB of RAM, and the RTX 5090 GPU are still about as extreme of a setup for gaming as you can currently get. And, at ~$200 cheaper than the 9800X3D version of the Empowered PC Sentinel, that extra savings might be worth it for some individuals.
Harness the Power of the Next Generation
While the market for RTX 5090 GPUs and RTX 5090 prebuilt desktops is still forming, these four desktop PCs are all excellent options. Yes, they come with steep pricetags, but that is to be expected considering that the RTX 5090 alone costs well over $2,000.
We expect to see more RTX 5090 prebuilt options to pop up soon and we will update this list to include the best deals.
