With the release of NVIDIA’s RTX 5000-series GPUs, there is a whole new generation of high-end prebuilt gaming PCs on the market. We’ve already taken a look at the top 5090 prebuilts and 5080 prebuilts, but in this post we wanted to highlight a few of the cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PCs currently available.
These systems do make a few sacrifices to achieve a lower price tag, but if you want the most affordable desktop options that come with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 GPU, one of the PCs below should work for you…

Alienware Aurora ACT1250
The cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PC right now.

Alienware Aurora ACT1250 Overview
At the time of this update, this configuration of Alienware’s Aurora ACT1250 was the cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PC available on Amazon.
It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor, an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 5200MHz memory. That combination is powerful enough to max out most games at 4K resolution, while also delivering excellent performance for streaming, content creation, and other CPU-intensive workloads.
The Core Ultra 9 285 is not an X3D processor, so it won’t match the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in CPU-limited games. However, the difference matters less when playing graphically demanding games at 4K, where the RTX 5080 will usually be the main performance bottleneck.
Alienware rounds out the configuration with a 240mm liquid CPU cooler and a 1000-watt Platinum-rated power supply. The clear side panel also provides a view of the internal components without giving the system the overly aggressive appearance of some gaming desktops.
The main drawback is its 1TB NVME SSD. That is enough storage to get started, but modern games can consume well over 100GB apiece, so anyone with a large game library may eventually need to add another drive.
Overall, the Aurora ACT1250 provides an excellent combination of performance and major-brand support, and it was the least expensive RTX 5080 desktop we found during this update.
STORMCRAFT Phantom
The best-value RTX 5080 gaming PC.

STORMCRAFT Phantom Overview
The STORMCRAFT Phantom was only slightly more expensive than the Alienware Aurora when we updated this post, but it offers a significantly better overall gaming configuration.
This desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080. The 9800X3D’s additional cache makes it one of the fastest gaming processors available, particularly in esports games, online shooters, simulators, and other CPU-heavy titles.
It also comes with 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory and a 2TB Gen4 NVME SSD. That gives it twice as much storage as the Alienware desktop listed above, along with faster memory.
The rest of the hardware is solid as well. STORMCRAFT uses a B850 motherboard, a 360mm AIO CPU cooler, and an 850-watt power supply. The AM5 motherboard also provides a more promising CPU upgrade path than Intel’s LGA 1851 platform.
The main concern is that STORMCRAFT does not have the same long-standing reputation or extensive owner-review history as Alienware or Skytech. However, based strictly on the components included and its current price, this is arguably the strongest value on the list.
If your priority is getting the most gaming performance for your money, the STORMCRAFT Phantom is the option we would choose.
Skytech Azure 3
Another affordable 9800X3D and RTX 5080 desktop.

Skytech Azure 3 Overview
Skytech’s Azure 3 offers almost the same core configuration as the STORMCRAFT Phantom listed above, but from a more established prebuilt gaming PC manufacturer.
It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card, 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz RGB memory, and a 2TB NVME SSD. This is an excellent configuration for high-refresh-rate 1440P gaming or gaming at 4K resolution.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is particularly useful if you play CPU-intensive games. Its additional cache can produce noticeably higher framerates in competitive shooters, strategy games, simulators, and other titles that are not completely limited by the graphics card.
Skytech also includes a 360mm ARGB AIO CPU cooler and an 850-watt Gold-rated ATX 3 power supply. The AM5 platform provides access to future AMD processors as well, giving this system a better potential upgrade path than the Intel-based Alienware.
The downside is its price. When we checked, this Skytech gaming PC cost roughly $200 more than the two systems above without delivering significantly better gaming performance.
Still, if you want the 9800X3D and RTX 5080 combination but would prefer to buy from a more established system integrator, the Azure 3 is a strong alternative.
Empowered PC Panorama
A lower-priced panoramic RTX 5080 gaming PC.

Empowered PC Panorama Overview
The final option on this list is Empowered PC’s Panorama RTX 5080 gaming desktop. Its panoramic glass case gives it a cleaner showcase-style appearance than the more enclosed Alienware Aurora.
This system comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor, an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB Gen4 NVME SSD. It also includes Wi-Fi 6E, Windows 11 Pro, and a three-year warranty.
The Ryzen 7 8700F is the weakest gaming processor featured here. It will still provide solid performance, especially when playing graphics-intensive games at 4K resolution, but it will fall behind the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in CPU-limited games and high-refresh-rate competitive titles.
The good news is that the system uses AMD’s AM5 platform. That gives you the option of replacing the 8700F with a faster X3D processor later without having to replace the motherboard and memory.
One thing to note is that Amazon’s listing does not identify the CPU cooler included with this specific configuration. That lack of detail makes it more difficult to recommend over the similarly priced Skytech and STORMCRAFT systems, both of which explicitly include 360mm AIO coolers.
Still, if you prefer the panoramic case, Windows 11 Pro, and longer warranty, the Empowered PC Panorama is another lower-priced RTX 5080 desktop worth considering.

In the end, there really aren’t any cheap RTX 5080 desktops out there. However, these four options are currently much cheaper than many of the other RTX 5080 desktops on the market.
