Cheapest RTX 5080 Prebuilt Gaming DesktopYou won’t find more affordable prebuilt gaming PCs with an RTX 5080 in them than these two desktops from Skytech.

While this configuration of the Skytech Azure isn’t the cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PC available right now, it’s pretty darn close… and, it comes with the best gaming CPU currently available, the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

Along with the 9800X3D and RTX 5080, this Azure model desktop also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB Gen 4 NVME SSD, a 360mm ARGB AIO CPU cooler, an 850-watt power supply, and a panoramic-style mid tower case.

The combination of the 9800X3D and RTX 5080 will give you extreme gaming performance and will allow you to max out most titles on a 4K display.

And, at just under $3,000, it is one of the more affordable RTX 5080 desktops on the market right now.

However, Skytech has an even cheaper model desktop that comes with the RTX 5080…

2. Skytech Chronos

The cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PC right now…

Skytech Chronos - Ultra 7 265K & RTX 5080

If you don’t mind sacrificing a little bit of CPU performance, you can save ~$200 by opting for this Skytech Chronos desktop instead of the Azure system listed above.

Both systems feature basically the same core hardware configuration. The both come with the RTX 5080. They both have 32GB of RAM. And, they both sport 2TB Gen 4 SSDs.

However, this Chronos desktop does come with the weaker Intel Ultra 7 265K when compared to the Skytech Azure’s AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

In terms of in-game performance, you likely won’t notice too big of a difference between these two CPUs when playing games that are GPU-bound. However, in more CPU intensive titles, the 9800X3D is going to offer a decent boost in performance over the 265K.

So, the bottom line is that, if you mainly play game that rely more heavily on your GPU, the 265K (and, thus, this Skytech Chronos desktop) will be a fine option. If you do play more CPU-heavy games, though, you’ll definitely want to consider spending a little extra to get the better CPU that the Skytech Azure has to offer.

In the end, there really aren’t any cheap RTX 5080 desktops out there. However, these two options from Skytech are currently much cheaper than the other RTX 5080 desktops that are currently on the market.
