If you’re looking for a solid mid-range graphics card, in this guide, we’ve rated and compared seven of the best RTX 2060 standard & SUPER graphics cards.
NVIDIA’s new lineup of ray-tracing GPUs (the RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, RTX 2070, and RTX 2060) released earlier this year and quickly took over the upper tier of the graphics card market.
And, now, with the introduction of their SUPER GPUs (essentially, the SUPER edition GPUs are the same GPUs, but with a little more power—the RTX 2060 SUPER does come with 2GB more VRAM than the standard 2060, though), there are even more NVIDIA ray-tracing GPUs to choose between.
In terms of price-to-performance, the RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 SUPER are one of the top value options currently available on the market. And, in this guide, we’ve rated and compared seven different RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 SUPER graphics cards to help you find the right option for your needs.

1. Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER Gaming OC
Our top RTX 2060 SUPER pick
- 1815 MHz (in Gaming Mode)
8GB GDDR6 VRAM
Triple Fan Cooling
11.0-inches Long
Our top pick for the best RTX 2060 SUPER graphics card is Gigabyte’s Gaming OC edition. We chose it mainly because it offers a good middle-ground between offering a high boost clock rate, a robust cooling configuration, and a fair price point.
The card comes with an 1815 MHz boost clock rate, has a triple fan cooling configuration, and comes in at 11-inches long. For connection options, the Gigabyte Gaming OC comes with three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port.
As a comparison to our first Honorable Mention pick, the Gigabyte WINDFORCE, the Gaming OC offers a higher boost clock rate and comes with triple fan cooling. However, the Gigabyte WINDOFRCE comes in at ~$20 less expensive. So, if you’re looking for a more affordable RTX 2060 SUPER, that would probably be the better option.
Ultimately, we like a lot Gigabyte RTX 2060s right now, namely due to their competitive price points. And, of the RTX 2060 SUPERs out there, we think the Gigabyte Gaming OC stands out above the rest.
2. MSI RTX 2060 GAMING Z
Best regular RTX 2060
- 1830 MHz Boost
6GB GDDR6 VRAM
Dual Fan Cooling
9.7-inches Long
If you don’t need the extra power that the SUPER edition cards bring to the table (or the extra 2GB of VRAM), the standard RTX 2060 is still a great card. In fact, many benchmarks show that the RTX 2060 SUPER only beats the standard RTX 2060 by a margin of 10-15%. That is a decent jump, but when that difference means going from 150 FPS to 170 FPS on a 1080P monitor, it’s not quite as significant.
In any case, we like the MSI GAMING Z as the top RTX 2060 (standard) at the moment. Its 1830MHz boost clock rate, RGB lighting, and advanced cooling help it stand out over some of the other RTX 2060s currently on the market.
However, with the release of the new RTX 2060 SUPER lineup, there are some RTX 2060 standards that can be had for a lot less. In fact, Gigabyte’s 2X WINDFORCE listed below comes in at ~$50 cheaper. The other problem with the GAMING Z is that, at ~$280, it’s only about $20 cheaper than the Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE listed below.
So, if you can bump up your budget by $20, that might be the better way to go.
In the end, though, the MSI RTX 2060 GAMING Z has one of the higher clock rates among the standard RTX 2060s right now and comes in at a fair price point.
3. Gigabyte RTX 2060 WINDFORCE
The most affordable RTX 2060
- 1755 MHz Core Clock
6GB GDDR6 VRAM
Dual Fan Cooling
8.9-inches Long
At just under $330, the Gigabyte RTX 2060 2X WINDFORCE is a steal. It doesn’t have the clock rate that the MSI GAMING Z has (1830MHz vs 1755MHz), but it comes in at ~$50 less expensive.
And, measuring in at just 8.9-inches long, it is a good option to put in a small form-factor PC. Although, if you want to go even smaller, you could opt for the Gigabyte Mini, or the EVGA XC Gaming listed below
This card features Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE cooling design, three Displayports and one HDMI port.
Ultimately, though, if you’re looking for the cheapest RTX 2060 graphics card currently on the market, the Gigabyte RTX 2060 2X WINDFORCE is currently it.
4. Gigabyte RTX 2060 Mini
The best low-profile RTX 2060
- 1695 MHz Core Clock
6GB GDDR6 VRAM
Single Fan Cooling
6.7-inches Long
If you’re planning on building a mini gaming computer, the good news is that there are a handful of compact RTX 2060 video cards that will work for your needs. Of those options, we think that Gigabyte’s Mini RTX 2060 is the best option.
The Gigabyte Mini RTX 2060 measures in at just 6.7-inches long and comes with a 1695 MHz boost clock rate, three DisplayPorts, and one HDMI port. EVGA’s XC Gaming (listed in our Honorable Mention section below) does come with a higher clock rate (1755MHz), but it is also quite a bit longer. Both cards cost ~$350 as well, so the main difference between the two are their boost clock rate and their length…
If you are looking to build a small form-factor gaming PC and you want a card with a little bit better out-of-the-box performance, then go with the EVGA XC Gaming. If you need as small of an RTX 2060 as possible, then the Gigabyte Mini would serve you better.
5. Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE
Honorable mention #1
- 1680 MHz Boost Clock
8GB GDDR6 VRAM
Dual Fan Cooling
10.4-inches Long
If you want an RTX 2060 SUPER, but your budget is limited to no more than $400, then the Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE is probably your best bet. The WINDFORCE is the only RTX 2060 SUPER that comes in under $400 at the moment.
Our top pick, the Gigabyte RTX 2060 SUPER Gaming OC does offer triple fan cooling (the WINDFORCE only has dual fans) and comes with a much higher clock rate (1830MHz vs 1680Mhz). But, the WINDFORCE costs about ~$20 less.
So, if you can’t bump up an extra $20, the Gigabyte WINDFORCE is a nice alternative.
6. EVGA RTX 2060 XC Gaming
Honorable mention #2
- 1755 MHz Boost Clock
6GB GDDR6 VRAM
Single Fan Cooling
7.5-inches Long
If you’re looking for a compact RTX 2060 video card with a decent clock rate, then the EVGA XC Gaming is the option for you. It measures in at 7.5-inches long and comes with a 1755MHz boost clock rate—which is slightly faster than the Gigabyte Mini’s 1695MHz clock rate. Though, while the XC Gaming is a bit faster than the Gigabyte Mini, that difference probably won’t result in a significant real-world performance increase.
However, the Gigabyte Mini is a litt bit shorter (6.7-inches long) and that might make the difference between fitting inside of a smaller case or not. However, if a case can hold a 6.7-inch long graphics card, it can probably also hold a 7.5-inch long graphics card.
So, really, there aren’t a whole lot of differences between the two cards.
The EVGA XC Gaming is the other RTX 2060 on this list that offers a DVI port. It comes with one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and one DVI port.
7. MSI RTX 2060 Ventus
Honorable mention #3
- 1710 MHz Boost Clock
6GB GDDR6 VRAM
Dual Fan Cooling
8.9-inches Long
Finally, we have MSI’s Ventus edition RTX 2060. While the Ventus is a decent card overall, at its current price point there really isn’t a reason to choose it over any of the other options on this list. That’s mostly because the faster Gigabyte 2X WINDFORCE comes in at ~$20 cheaper.
The MSI Ventus is quite a bit shorter than the 2X WINDFORCE, but there are shorter options like the EVGA XC Gaming or the Gigabyte Mini and both of those options have similar or faster clock rates.
So, unless the MSI Ventus were to drop significantly in price, it will remain an honorable mention.
Like most of the other cards listed above, the MSI Ventus offers three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port.
Which RTX 2060 is Best for Your Needs?
For the prices that the RTX 2060s and RTX 2060 SUPERs are coming in at and the performance they are able to provide, they are easily one of the better price-to-performance GPU options currently available. Of course, in order to take full advantage of the performance they offer, your best bet is to pair them with a 144Hz (or higher) refresh rate G-Sync monitor. In any case, if you are looking for the best RTX 2060 (SUPER or standard), one of the options listed above should meet your needs.
