1. Logitech G502 Hero
Our top pick for the best Logitech mouse
Logitech offers three high-end mouse options for gamers: the Logitech G502 Hero, the Logitech G PRO Hero, and the Logitech G Pro. All of them are high-end gaming mice, but each has one major difference.
The G502 offers more buttons than the G PRO Hero and the G Pro. The G PRO Hero is lighter than the G502. And, the G Pro is wireless.
So, in our opinion, if you’re willing to spend a little extra to get a high-end Logitech gaming mouse, your choice will come down to whether or not your want a wired or wireless mouse and, then, after that, whether or not you want more programmable buttons, or your want a lightweight design.
If you want a wired mouse with more buttons, then the Logitech G502 hero is your best bet. If not, check out the options below.
2. Logitech G PRO Hero
Our favorite lightweight Logitech mouse
As mentioned above, the Logitech G PRO Hero is a great option for gamers who want a wired mouse, but favor a lightweight design over having a few extra programmable buttons.
The Logitech G PRO Hero sports six programmable buttons, RGB lighting, and a maximum DPI of up to 16,000. And, while the Logitech G PRO Hero does come with five fewer buttons than the Logitech G502 Hero, it also comes in at over an ounce lighter.
So, again, if you prefer a lightweight mouse to help you move your cursor more quickly, the G PRO Hero is a great option. If you don’t mind the extra weight, though, and you’d be able to utilize the extra programmable buttons, then the G502 Hero would be better for you.
3. Logitech G Pro
The best wireless Logitech mouse
If you’re looking for a quality wireless gaming mouse, the Logitech G Pro is worth checking out. And, while wired mice will always offer a more reliable connection, wireless gaming mice have come a long way.
Wired mouse are still heavily favored among hardcore competitive gamers, but a wireless mouse can make sense for casual gamers. Wireless mice are good options for people who A) want to swap their mouse between different devices, and B) people who prefer the cleaner look that a cordless mouse offers.
The other downside of wireless mouse, though, is the premium you’ll have to pay to get the wireless technology. The Logitech G Pro, for instance, is nearly ~$75 more expensive than the two options listed above, despite not offering much more in terms of performance.
Still, though, if you want a high-end wireless gaming mouse, it’s a premium you’ll have to pay. And, of the wireless gaming mice out there, perhaps none are better options than the Logitech G Pro.
4. Logitech G203 Prodigy
The best budget Logitech mouse
If you don’t have a huge budget and are looking for a slightly more affordable gaming mouse, the Logitech G203 Prodigy is an option worth considering. At just under ~$40, it is a bit less expensive than the G502 Hero and the G PRO Hero.
It doesn’t quite offer the same high-end features as those two mice, though. For starters, its maximum 6,000 DPI setting is significantly lower than the 16,000 DPI that the G502 Hero and G Pro can hit. It also only comes with six buttons and a single color LED light (as opposed to eight buttons for the G502 and RGB lighting for both the G502 and G PRO.)
However, the bottom line is that, if you’ll never use the higher DPI settings, the extra buttons, or the additional color options, then you can save some money and still get a mouse that will give you everything you need.
5. Logitech G600 MMO
The best MMO-oriented Logitech mouse
For those MMO gamers out there that are looking for a gaming mouse that offers a ton of programmable buttons, Logitech’s G600 MMO mouse is the perfect option.
With 20 programmable buttons and a maximum 8,200 DPI setting, the Logitech G600 MMO mouse offers an insane amount of buttons and plenty of performance.
Ultimately, an MMO mouse won’t make sense for every type of gamer. But, for MMO gamers, the ability to have a ton of extra macros at the click of a button can be a real advantage. And, if that’s the case for you, the you’ll want to check out the Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse.
