Dell sells both prebuilt gaming computers and custom gaming PCs through their Alienware brand name. And, while you can configure an Alienware gaming PC to your liking on Dell’s website, they also offer a lot of solid options that are already configured. One such option is this Alienware Aurora R12 desktop.

This Aurora R12 configuration comes with an Intel Core i7-11700KF processor, an NVIDIA RTX 3080 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB solid state drive, and a 1TB hard drive.

The combination of the i7-11700KF processor and the RTX 3080 graphics card are powerful enough to where this system will be able to handle anything you throw at it. If you want to play games on a 4K display, this computer will allow you to do so. If you’re a competitive gamer that wants to utiltize an extremely fast 360Hz monitor, this system can run that as well.

In other words, if you’re looking for a high-end gaming computer that will provide you with more than enough performance to handle any in-game scenario, this Aurora 12 desktop might be what you’re looking for.

If you don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on a new gaming computer, Dell has some more affordable systems that are still able to deliver excellent performance. This Dell G5 model is one such option.

It comes with an Intel Core i7-10700F processor, an RTX 3060 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB solid state drive.

While the Intel Core i7-10700F and the RTX 3060 graphics card aren’t as powerful as the i7-11700KF and the RTX 3080 that the system above comes with, it is still a combination that is powerful enough to where you will be able to max out any game on a 1080P or 1440P monitor.

So, the bottom line is that, if you are looking for a prebuilt gaming computer that can deliver ideal performance on a 1080P monitor (or, even a 1440P display), this Dell Inspiron G5 desktop is worth considering.

While the Dell Inspiron G5 configuration listed above offers excellent performance for the price it comes in at, this G5 configuration might be an even better option for budget-oriented gamers. At just under $900 this system is perfect for a 1080P gaming system.

It comes with an Intel Core i5-10400F processor, an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super graphics card, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and a secondary 1TB hard drive. While that is by no means an extreme array of hardware, it is pretty powerful if all you need is a computer that will be able to max games out on a 1080P display. In fact, this setup is strong enough to where it would ideally be paired with a budget-friendly 1080P 144Hz monitor.

Ultimately, if you need a prebuilt gaming PC for under $1,000, you can’t do much better than this Dell Inspiron G5 desktop.

4. Dell OptiPlex 7020 SFF

If you are working with a really tight budget and all you need is an entry-level gaming PC that can run non-demanding titles like Rocket League or League of Legends, then this Dell Optiplex system might be what you’re looking for.

It is a ‘Renewed’ product, meaning it has been used before, but has been approved by Amazon’s quality assurance team. However, that is what allows it to come with such an affordable pricetag.

This system comes with an Intel Core i7-4770 processor, an NVIDIA GT 1030 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. That hardware configuration isn’t going to blow anyone away, but it will allow you to play pretty much any game on a cheap 1080P display on at least lower settings.

And, all this system really needs is an upgrade to a mid-range GPU in order to be able to max out most games at 1080P. So, overall, it’s a nice starter system that gamers can upgrade down the road if they want to jump up to more moderate levels of in-game performance.
