Honorable Mention #1:
BenQ RL2455S

The Ben Q Zowie RL2455 is made specifically for gamers, and more specifically, for esports. This is the only monitor on this list officially licensed for the PS4. It features 1920 x 1080 resolution and can hit a 75Hz refresh rate via HDMI. It also has an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a 1ms response time.
A dynamic contrast ratio of 12 million:1 is the second highest ratio of these seven monitors. This monitor includes dual HDMI ports, VGA (D-sub), and DVI ports, an earphone jack (3.5mm mini-jack) and an audio port (3.5mm mini-jack). It also has two stereo speakers built in. An HDMI cable is included in the box.

The RL2455 has a tilt range of -5 to 15 degrees and is not height adjustable. It is VESA compatible for wall mounting. It has a matte, anti-glare, flicker-free screen Additionally, the frame of the screen itself is designed both narrow and matte the eliminate any glare.
Honorable Mention #2:
Dell SE2417HG

The Dell SE21417HG has a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 2ms response time, and an 8 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, putting this monitor above some of the other budget monitors on this list in sharpness and clarity.
The SE21417HG has dual HDMI ports, a VGA port, and an audio port (3.5mm mini-jack) to connect your speakers. A VGA cable is included in the box.
The -5 to +21 degree tilt, makes this about comparable to the HP 24UH, and it is also not height adjustable. It is also not VESA compatible and is somewhat heavier than the other monitors at 13 pounds. Whether this is a negative will depend on your desk set up and the needs of the people who will be using this monitor.
Another difference is the backlit LED glossy screen. While this can be a matter of preference, glossy screens work best in indoor lighting, not sunlight, despite the anti-glare coating. They also show more vibrant colors than matte screens.
Honorable Mention #3:
HP 24uh

The HP 24UH has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 ratio, and comes with the gamut of input ports: VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI. It does not have speakers or headphone and audio ports. It has some tilt capability: -4 to 22 degrees, but no other adjustment capabilities for height or orientation, making it more suitable for a stationary desk and one user. A VGA cable is included in the box.
With a response time of 5ms and refresh rate of 60Hz, this may not be the most gamer-friendly option on this list. However, the screen is sharp and crisp with a 10 million: 1 dynamic contrast ratio, and its anti-glare and backlit LED screen meets the needs of most everyday computer users.
This monitor is VESA compatible to be wall mounted, which might be the best option, as the height is otherwise not adjustable. Its matte non-glare screen works in rooms where sunlight might otherwise cause glare.
Is A 24-Inch Monitor the Perfect Size for You?
There are many styles and brands of monitors, which can satisfy whatever need you have in a monitor, if you do your research. The seven monitors work for a variety of monitor needs and budgets, from hardcore FPS gaming and esports, to everyday work needs, to family use.
I have a 24 inch LG 24UD58 4K monitor and it sucks. The screen is too small to make 4K usable at a scaling level that gives you more space. Windows says that 150% scale is fine, which looks like a 1440p scale. But for me some text is too small so I use 200%. I think if you really want 4K go bigger and as a side note. Make sure you have the graphics power to drive that 4K. Lastly, many cheap 4K monitor refresh only at 60hz which from my experience is slow and I would rather have 120Hz refresh in a 1080p screen then 60Hz on a 4K.
