When it comes to raiding, WoW has always been at the pinnacle of the MMORPG genre.
Each time a new raid is released, players across the world eagerly anticipate the challenging new fights, powerful new loot, and exciting new mechanics waiting for them inside the new instance.
And, those players who are into the competitive side of WoW hold their breath to see which guild will clear the raid first and earn their place as the best WoW guild.

Getting a world first kill is an achievement that many guilds aspire to, but few ever manage.
Mythic raiding requires guilds to have unparalleled teamwork, skill, and patience—especially when fights are fresh and tactics are yet to be developed.
Although Mythic raiding gets easier as players learn the fights and acquire more powerful loot, the first few weeks of a tier is—by far—the most difficult content WoW has to offer.
Today, we’re taking a look at some of the best WoW guilds right now; the guilds that have not only cleared the latest raids in the first few weeks of release, but also been the first ones to do it.
Method
Realm: Twisted Nether (EU)
Since then, Method have overhauled their policies and been on a recruitment drive, reassuring the WoW community that such a thing will never happen again. While still a world away from what they once were, Method have still performed exceptionally well in each tier of Shadowlands, coming in at 7th, 5th, and 2nd for Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination, and Sepulcher of the First Ones respectively.
SK Pieces
Realm: Stormscale (EU)
SK Gaming clearly recognised the potential of the guild, who came in 3rd place during both the Castle Nathria and Sanctum of Domination raid tiers. Shortly after their signing, SK Pieces also came 4th in the Sepulcher of the First Ones riad, earning them a rightful place in our best guilds in WoW list.
Skyline
Realm: The Great Sea (CN)
In the latest tiers, Skyline finished 5th in Castle Nathria, 10th in Sanctum of Domination, and 5th again in Sepulcher of the First Ones.
Liquid
Realm: Illidan (US)
Since then, Liquid have regularly finished at the top of the table in every raid tier. In Shadowlands, Liquid secured 1st place in Castle Nathria, 2nd in Sanctum of Domination, and 5th in Sepulcher of the First Ones.
Echo
Realm: Tarren Mill (EU)
This new era clearly gave the players a new lease of life and a fresh hunger to succeed, as they went on to finish second in Castle Nathria, and first in both Sanctum of Domination and Sepulcher of the First Ones. A brand new guild securing world first kills is impressive at the best of times, but in this case it’s even more spectacular as the latter two raids of Shadowlands are widely considered to be some of the most difficult raids Blizzard has ever produced.
